Megan was born in Jonesboro, AR and raised in Oxford, MS. She graduated Cum Laude from The University of Mississippi with a B.A. in Business, with an emphasis in Management. After completing her undergraduate degree, she attended the University of Mississippi School of Law and graduated Cum Laude in the top one-third of class.

In 2010, she joined the Baldwin County District Attorney's office as a full-time prosecutor and during her time there she handled both misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases, adult and child sexual abuse case as well as juvenile cases and drug court. In 2012, joined Beckdefense as a full-time associate.

Since joining Beckdefense in 2012, Megan has focused her practice exclusively on criminal defense. She has dedicated her career to seeking justice for her clients, zealously advocating for their interests, while helping them achieve the best possible outcome in their cases.

Megan and her husband Patrick reside in Fairhope, AL and have two children. Family is very important to Megan, and she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, exercising, and watching Ole Miss sporting events in her free time.

Megan is a member of the Baldwin County Bar Association; the Baldwin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association; the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, having previously served as the Continuing Legal Education Chairman, and the Mobile County Bar Association.

Buzbee Cleared Of Murder Charge

After 3 trials, a verdict was reached in a Baldwin County murder case. Eric Buzbee was acquitted of killing Bobby Wilson.

State drops murder charge. Nodine was accused of killing his girlfriend Angel Downs in Gulf Shores back in 2010.
